چکیده

Many researchers have conducted previous meta-analysis studies regarding problem-based learning (PBL) to enhance problem-solving skills. However, their research does not focus on mathematical skills (MPSS). This study aims summarize, estimate, and evaluate PBL implementation's effect in enhancing the MPSS of Indonesian junior high school (JHS) students investigate characteristics that affect heterogeneous size data. Twenty-nine relevant primary published national international journals proceedings during 2011 – 2020 were analyzed using systematic review meta-analysis. The analysis tool used Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software by selecting formula Hedge determine its size. result showed overall implementation had a medium positive (g = 0,743; p less than 0,05), significantly JHS based random model. Also, sample size, area, sampling technique, publication year did These results suggest mathematics teachers should select as one best solutions implementing classroom students' MPSS.
